On The Hunt  A common challenge facing online video websites is trying to be unique when it seems that all the ideas have been taken and tried by everyone else.   The simple and effective premise of On The Hunt is reflected in its very simple and straightforward design of its website.  It’s all laid out with recent updates clearly visible and enough pictures and descriptions to give you all that you need to know what’s going on in the video, who the guys and who has directed the film. In addition, because it’s based on the premise of real guys hooking up at Manhunt a little bit of clever flash animation is used to recreate the  a snippet of instant messaging that preceded each of the “hook-ups” . It also serves as a very brief idea of what to expect in each video.

 

  As for the videos they well produced and directed but neither the camera work nor the editing is too slick. In other words they feel unrehearsed and the action is all spontaneous keeping in mind that these are real guys and not actors. The videos are over 30 minutes in length to allow the directors to interview the guys and get them to open up about themselves. In addition to weekly updates on Tuesdays there are also weekly Bonus updates on Thursdays. These include deleted footage, behind-the-scenes footage and extra tidbits. Videos are DRM free & Mac compatible and are available in streaming format or can be downloaded  as Quicktime, Windows Media, or iPod files in either low, med or high resolutions. On The Hunt has also taken the time to add a “sort” feature so that you can see the videos by dates added, models, key words or director. This is a handy tool now and an absolutely essential tool as the site continues to grow.

 

        

  While it may seem like a gimmick the use of top-notch porn stars & directors to film the hookups at On The Hunt is actually a great selling point. Rather than being obtrusive or a distraction these guys are a bonus. They interview the participants before and after their scene and sometimes either participate in the scene (literally!)  or make a cameo appearance. The directors and porn stars are as diverse as the guys that appear in On The Hunt videos. Matthew Rush, Caesar, Collin O’Neal,  and Jeremy Hall have all contributed to make this a site with very hot videos.
